Design Concept: Vision and Inspiration
Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the design emphasizes open, airy spaces, natural light, and a neutral color palette. The client desired a sophisticated yet homey feel, blending high-end design with sustainable materials. We incorporated elements of natural wood, stone, and metal finishes to create a harmonious and timeless atmosphere.
The open-plan layout maximizes space, allowing each room to flow seamlessly into the next. Statement art pieces and carefully curated furniture bring warmth and personality to the space.
Challenges We Faced & How We Solved Them
One of the primary challenges was working with a compact kitchen that lacked storage and counter space. To maximize functionality, we designed custom cabinetry with built-in appliances, and added a large island to create additional prep and storage areas. We also integrated modular pieces to make the space feel both open and functional.
Another challenge was the limited natural light in certain rooms. To combat this, we strategically placed mirrors and chose light-colored materials that reflected light, making the space feel brighter and more expansive.
